Popular South Indian actress Ranjitha, whose name was dragged into a sex scandal after she was seen in compromising positions with popular spiritual and mystic guru Swamy Nityananda in a sex video tape aired by Sun TV on March 2, has been removed from ace Mani Ratnam's mega movie Raavan after the actress remained unreachable over her mobile phone for the last few weeks.
The makers will now re-shoot Ranjitha's portions in Raavan with another actress. The actress was playing a pivotal role in this multi-starrer, featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Aiswarya Rai, Vikram and Prithviraj in key roles. Raavan is expected to grace theatres in July.
